Dear Members,
It is with great pleasure and pride that we bring to you today a remarkable achievement by two of our ex-ARA sailors winning Gold at the WARNEMUNDER week cup in Germany, putting Hong Kong on the highest step of the podium and in the lights of world of sailing.
We are very proud to have had these two young men beginning sailing with us years ago, growing to become some of the best Hong Kong Dinghy Sailors under the auspice of the ARA, to such an extent that the Hong Kong Sailing Institute and Rory Godman (our ex-club coach) recruited them to be part of the National Hong Kong 29ers Sailing team
We should all celebrate and commend our two young Sailors for their hard work as men, dedication to the sport of sailing and perseverance as international athletes again without omitting the very professional coaching they received.
They are the stars of Hong Kong today, joins us to wish them even more victories and why not see them at the Olympics tomorrow.
