Here are some house rules for your reference:
House Rules & Reminders
Membership Cards
Always present your membership card when accessing Club facilities or placing orders.
Cards are non-transferable; misuse may result in disciplinary action.
Guest Policy
Clubhouse Dining Facilities : Max. 4 guests per membership account on weekends (toddlers excluded).
Middle Island: Max. 6 guests on weekends/public holidays; advance food orders is suggested.
*To exceed standard guest allocations, kindly request advance approval through Reception (subject to General Manager's authorisation)
*Private pre-booked events/functions in the function rooms enjoy unrestricted guest numbers (standard policies still apply)
Children & Legacy Program
Parents must supervise their children at all times; personal staff cannot act as caregivers.
Children over 21 cannot use parents’ accounts; they may join as guests or apply for membership.
Legacy Program: Allows members’ offspring (21–29 years) to join the club as Associate Members if their parents have been an Associate or Ordinary member of the club for more than 10 continuous years, and the joining fee is $15,000.
Private Staff & Caregivers
Personal staff are not permitted unless approved by the General Manager (exceptions: caregivers for disabled members or disabled children).
If treating staff as guests, register them at Reception; they must participate as guests (e.g., dining and not care-giving).
Car Parking
Display your valid parking label clearly to avoid access issues.
Park within designated spaces and be mindful of others (spaces are limited).
Electronic Devices
Mobile phones: Use of mobile phones, audible pagers, and similar devices is generally prohibited throughout the club, except in designated areas. Phones may be used on silent or vibration mode in the foyer of each floor.
Laptops and Similar Devices: Laptops, tablets, and e-readers are allowed in the Galley and outdoor patios, but prohibited indoors at Waglan Bar from 12–3pm and after 6pm. All devices must remain on silent mode with headphones used for audio.
Function Rooms: Mobile phones and electronic devices may be used in The Harbour Room and The Bridge only during pre-booked functions by members. Additionally, these devices are allowed in the car park and areas of Middle Island beyond the boatyard barrier gate.
Towels are the property of the Club and should not be removed from the premises.
